I am an indie developer myself and am researching this topic for both my blog and of course to figure out when I should release my game in the future. I am probably going to aim for March 2025/2026 since that's around the time most people recommend. Besides since it's going to be my first game I have no clue how long it will actually take. I have done a few little prototypes in the past but never a full blown game so... wish me luck!
