What Concord’s failure says re: discovery in 2024?

As news spread that PlayStation’s ambitious $40 shooter, Concord - which came out on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5 a week ago - had pretty much done the opposite of PlayStation’s previous PC/console GaaS debut, Helldivers 2, some were perplexed.
